The Jealous Guys “First Sight” Stills

Ayinde and Casa are the pair known as The Jealous Guys. Two San Francisco natives, who recently came on the scene and have been makin’ some really great music. Be on the lookout for these two. They recently hooked up with another SF native… the talented, Chasen Paper of 24 Karate Milkcrate and are finishing up the video for their song “First Sight” off the upcoming “the love mixtape”, which is dropping real soon. The ScoJourners. For The City.

This past Saturday, I finally got a chance to catch a live performace by our friends, The ScoJourners, at the Rockit Room. There was also a special guest appearance by GSB (Giant Smile Boy), straight from Tokyo. All I have to say is, Damn! Skitz, Curt Sak, Estairy, Max and An Na, are really doin’ their thing! I can honestly say that their music is soundin’ real, real good. Real good. I’m very proud of them. This is Real Hip Hop right here. I can’t wait to cop their new album… the new songs I’ve so far, sound sick!

It’s a Hot Sunny Day…

Summer in The City

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Roy from Unscripted and Mario from The Freshstock, for lunch. Both great guys… and I love choppin’ it up with these guys about the industry, and life in general. It’s always great seeing things from different points of view! We headed over to HRD Coffee Shop in the SOMA district of SF, for some Kim Chi burritos and burgers. Food’s good there and reasonably priced! Afterwards, we headed over to the little park in the South Beach neighborhood, to continue talkin’ shop and to kick it, soak up some sun and enjoy this BEAUTIFUL and rare HOT weather we are having in The Bay right now.
